Judith Prat – Photojournalist and Filmmaker
Judith Prat is a renowned seasoned Spanish Photojournalist and storyteller who has, in recent years, worked in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East, documenting issues around human rights, war, and the situation of the peasantry worldwide.
I was fortunate to work with Judith as a fixer, interpreter, and guide during her documentary research on the activities of Spanish ancestors during slave trading in Sierra Leone, especially along the Sierra Leone River, in Pujehun southern Sierra Leone.

Andrea Stutiens – Artist, Photographer, and Educator
Andrea Stultiens is an artist, photographer, and educator from the Netherlands whose practice builds on a background in documentary
photography. Her work critically engages with the present-day effects of 19th and 20th-century images
and imaginations of ‘Africa’, formulating visual and textual responses to questions on the
value and meaning of photographs in and for different heritage communities in Europe
and Africa.
I am currently collaborating with Andre on documentary projects focused on the lost Nomolis of Sierra Leone, the lost Leopard Society of Sierra Leone, and other related topics.
These documentaries will feature Sierra Leoneans who have a deep understanding of the country’s history and will include insights from the Sierra Leone National Museum, providing an in-depth exploration of the subjects mentioned above.
