I am a passionate photojournalist and storyteller in Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa. I Was honored as the 2024 Photojournalism Prize winner for the prestigious Vickie Remoe Prize for Journalism and New Media. A platform that highlights emerging journalists and new media content creators for excellence, originality, and creativity.
I am a native of Kailahun, eastern Sierra Leone. Through photography, I aim to capture the essence of everyday life and highlight the beauty in ordinary moments. I focus on telling impactful stories that shed light on pressing issues affecting communities, such as climate change, environmental concerns, Sierra Leonean culture, and traditional narratives that showcase the splendor of Sierra Leone and beyond.
